Bavaro, the Dominican Republic on the 4th of December, 2019

Grupo Dolphin has, through its subsidiary in the Dominican Republic, completed its acquisition of “Ocean Adventures” on the 15th of November. “Ocean Adventures” is the pioneer of excursion offerings in the Bavaro zone of Punta Cana.

Ocean Adventures began operations in 2000 with the vision of offering innovative, safe, and quality excursions for visitors to Punta Cana. Among the experiences they offer are:

  • Bavaro Splash Tour, where visitors drive their speedboat to Snuba the beautiful local reef.
  • Dr. Fish Ocean Spa, the only spot in the world where guests navigate the Caribbean coast while receiving spa treatments.
  • Caribbean Pirates, fun for the whole Family! Guests enjoy a treasure hunt, swimming with sharks and interacting with rays.
  • Sailing Adventures and Caribbean Sun, sail away on a fantastic catamaran that takes you to paradise where guests can snorkel and Snuba the reef.

A team of more than 100 employees makes it possible for nearly 100,000 guests to enjoy these activities each year and live a unique experience as part of their visit to this destination in the Caribbean.

Five years after opening Dolphin Punta Cana, Ocean Adventures joins our portfolio of parks and activities representing our second point of operations in the Dominican Republic, the tenth in the Caribbean, and number 31 in the world of Dolphin Discovery.

“Ocean Adventures will strengthen our base in this beautiful Caribbean destination, increasing the range of services we can offer our guests. We are very excited about our growth in the Dominican Republic, where we consolidate ourselves as one of the main operators of experiences and activities in the Caribbean,” said Eduardo Albor, CEO of Grupo Dolphin.

Grupo Dolphin will be expanding its offer very soon with new activities at Ocean Adventures, including the experience of swimming with dolphins and many other water activities in the Caribbean paradise that is Punta Cana.
